Door Monitors & Thermostat working together

When a Coastal Green Air customer purchases the wireless door / window monitors and the programmable motion detected thermostat and they are used together to maximize energy savings this is known as the Temp$aver System.

The wireless door monitors work as they do with any thermostat.  The only difference with using the door monitors with our thermostat is when the doors are left open longer than the programmed time (typically 90 seconds) the thermostat will go blank showing that the open doors have disabled the thermostat and the HVAC system.

The traditional Temp$aver system can be modified to an advanced system for a more aggressive property owner.  This is simply done by adding a wireless door monitor and duel receiver at the entrance of the property.  Adding this additional entrance monitor will detect no occupancy at a fast rate than having to wait for the unoccupied and check out modes.  We will be glad to explain the advanced system in detail if you happen to be this aggressive property owner wanting to create more energy savings faster.
